Informing the Public
In an ongoing commitment to informing the public on the benefits of treatment by Registered Massage Therapists, the association frequently carries out comprehensive awareness campaigns. These include:
- Television ads demonstrating a sampling of conditions treated by RMT’s
- Branded awareness television ads portraying real life health care issues
- Transit Ads promoting the profession to the public
- Print Ads promoting the profession to the public
- Recent published articles recognizing the benefits of massage therapy
- Branding/marketing materials for use by members in their clinics for recognition as professional healthcare practitioners
- Support for members to attend local publicly attended health fair events to highlight their practice and the profession
- Attendance at employer health fairs
